The Agility Team
Kami Guertin

Kami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Louisiana State University in Spring 1999. She received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University in Spring 2002.  She has worked in the Outpatient setting since 2002 and started Agility Physical Therapy with James Dattilo in 2014.  She is married and has two kids.  She and her husband, Daren, were both members of the LSU Swimming and Diving team, Kami as a swimmer and Daren as a diver.  Kami has treated many athletes of all ability levels during her career.

James Datillo

James earned his Bachelor’s degree in the Fall of 1997 in Health and Human Performance and then went to San Jacinto College to obtain his license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2000. He has over 20 years of experience primarily in an Outpatient setting treating a wide variety of injuries and performing injury prevention. He also has treated high school, college, and pro athletes over his career.  He has been the co-owner of Agility Physical Therapy with Kami Guertin, PT, MPT since 2014. He has 3 children with his high school sweetheart.

Tammy Garza

Sam completed her undergraduate schooling at Texas A&M University – Kingsville where she competed for the TAMUK Women’s Track and Field Team for four years. She received All-American Honors in the event high jump. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. She has been working with Agility since February 2017 and is the lead therapist at the Friendswood location.  She loves anything regarding physical fitness, all sports, traveling, and watching movies and television shows, as well, as trying all the restaurants in Houston.

Samantha Alvarez

Tammy has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Kinesiology with an emphasis of biomechanics from the University of Houston. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine-Austin. She is certified in the manual therapy technique of dry needling, through Structure and Function. Tammy is knowledgeable in various orthopedic injuries.  She also has experience and loves to work with the pediatric population. She is married and has a son.

Caitlin Owens

Caitlin graduated from Texas A&M in 2016.  She went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and began working for Agility in 2019. She grew up in Houston and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially exploring the different parks throughout the city.

Ceryl Mintz

Cheryl has been working for Agility since April 2020.  She handles the day to day running of the front office.  She has over 20 years of experience working in the medical field.  She is married and has 3 kids.

Dawn Lambert

Dawn oversees patient account reconciliation, including patient payments, insurance remittances and patient billing.  She graduated from University of Houston, Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  She is married, has 2 children and 1 grandchild.  She has worked with Agility since February of 2016.

Courtney Martinez

Courtney graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness and Human Performance. She has been with Agility since April of 2019 and is currently working on getting into PT school.
